Yeah I understand what you can do is call Verizon and tell them you recently switched to an HDTV. You can tell them you don't want HD programing but you would like to know if they offer a box with a superior connection to S-Video like Component. Cable offered it to use when we switched to HDTV and called them about the poor picture quality through their box(which was s-video) and gave us a component output box that still counted as SDTV so we didn't have to pay for the HD box(though now I think the HD and SD box with cable are the same...)
