do you run a lot of video editing, or anything with high levels of parallelism if so it may be worth the cost. if your just gaming not really the i5 is a better value, that said i have a 2600k OC to 4.3 and use it to host the vgc minecraft server (i also have 32 gb of ram now but most people don't need that) and do video editing/ design work in addition to gaming on it (i was not even planing on making it a gaming box at first, but then a few games came out my laptop could not play and one thing lead to another)
the 2600K can go alot higher than 4.3 - mine will run at 5.1 with voltage tweeks and an air cooler (gets about 85c), but to prolong life, and minimise heat since i moved it to a silent case 4.3 is with no voltage tweek |
No not much video editing in the profesional sense anway , so i will most likely get the i5 3570K with the G1 Sniper 3 I really like that Mobo .
Research shows Video games help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot
