Similar to yours... 5 being the middle of the road (ie a game that I might recommend if someone is a big fan of the subject or genre, but without that extra pull it is a mediocre game)
My collection on here is of course skewed toward the high end of the scale, but that's because I don't buy games on a whim, and generally know I will like a game before I buy it, so while I don't have many games rated below 7, that doesn't mean I use the scale reviewers use where 7/7.5 is the middle of the road.
I applaud your use of a 10 point (well 11 point if 0 is included) scale... I think proper reviewers should simplify their score systems more. On a personal rating system though I do believe it is possible to differentiate between games on a 'more precise' scale, which is why I use the full breadth of the system on VGC. There is a difference between personally rating a game collection and giving a score based on reviewing a game though, 100 point scales are not a 'more accurate' measure of the quality of a game based on reviews... especially when different people are involved in reviewing from the same publication.
