Sure have. I started a book waaaaay back in HighSchool.
Whats done:
1) Have The World Map Drawn Out
2) All cities named, placed
3) Regions build (Mountains, Lakes Streams) all named
4) Backstory of all the leaders of each CIty/State/Region finished
5) Legends Created and Documented (I have a Glossary of Terms + a History of Houses, aka Song of Fire and Ice and Wheel of Time)
6) First 3 Chapters Finished (Introduces the Good/Bad/3rd Party perspectives, but only 3 characters introduced in 1 of the 3 chapters)
I have most of the main/important characters planned out, named and placed (when they will be introduced, what they do, etc). I was inspired by Suikoden 3 actually, and redid my ideas going with a Trinity Sight System type story (Though this time it would really be from Good/Bad/3rd party) perspectives.
I have added a bit here and there since HS, but nothing of real consequence (adding locations to the map, names, backstory, history, etc)
