No, I'm pretty sure it makes sense. Releasing more new IPs than Nintend & Microsoft isn't a noteworthy achievement, because neither are satisfactory in the field of new IPs. Just like being healthier than all people with super obesity isn't a noteworthy achievement, because no super obese people are satisfactory in the field of health
