Granted, that's from 2008, but more than capable of outperforming the current consoles... particularly since it has been highly customized for WiiU. Add to that the extra RAM and the fact that the CPU has been confirmed by IBM themselves to be a POWER7, and WiiU is hardly "old gen". While I do expect Microsoft's NeXtBox to be stronger (not so sure about Sony yet), I don't think we have to wait until its release for the 8th gen to begin. |
Yeah I hate when people start bashing the Wii U when they don't know the few facts we do indeed know about the system.
Also, I have the feeling that Microsoft won't go all high tech since they seem to focused way to much on the casual market (a.k.a Kinect), you don't really need advanced graphics to impress the casual market, and heck even Patcher said not to long ago that Microsoft have plans to focus more on multimedia and boring stuff on E3.
