Since someone mentioned it, i guess i have to comment on it. As much as the Wii is so innovating, i have yet to see any true innovation in the games. As much as people say otherwise, many of the big games that are on the Wii could easily be the same game on the Xbox 360/PS3 or onto the PC with its keyboard and mouse.
Games like Super Mario Galaxy could be easily translated to work on the either console, even SSBB, the main website for that game recommends using the Gamecube controller to play it. Dont believe me, ill site it for you. As much as ive seen with the Wii, developers have yet to really take its innovative controls and use it to make a truly innovative game.
