I don't get why people say it's too short. I'm 7-8 hours in and I'm at Act III normal (I tend to explore the whole map as I progress) so I'm guessing I'll be done by 10 to 12 hours of gameplay for normal difficulty. That's already more than most single player campaigns released nowadays.
Then when you factor in that Diablo has always been about going through the story multiple times with your character at increasingly higher levels of difficulty then for a single class you get something like 40 hours of gameplay. Then there's 5 classes to play as so that boosts the duration of the game through the roof.
