As a kid, my stepfather and I were pretty close. Somewhere along the way, I started feeling awkward around him and I started avoiding him. I don't even know why. I remember back when Super Mario 64 came out, he came to me and asked me to show him how to play. I gave him the instruction manual and walked away. I feel kinda bad about that. I'm sure he's long since forgotten that but I haven't. I think I'll take him to lunch, today.
