It is just a matter of creativity on a product they can sell. Examples PS1 was designed for Nintendo and was rejected. But people loved the fact it played disks. The Walkman was replaced by Apple's iPod. It is just a matter of time for Sony to find a product that people will crave in originality. By the company shrinking down again they might be able to focus more on the creativity and design over moving large basic electronics. Only time will tell if they find their stride.
