@Mummelman - How far are you in Hell now? I just started it (defeated Leoric) and so far haven't found it to be a big step up over Act IV NM (the champion/elite mobs are more obnoxious than difficult, especially the Mortar/Jailer/Fast or Walled/Arcane/Frozen ones, but with Spirit Walk I just can run around while depleting their HP, it only takes longer).
Also, you said that you have 17K DPS now, but how many attacks per second? I have 3.4K DPS, but 1.10 attacks per second and each of my Flaming Darts take do about 5K damage unboosted, 8K boosted and can crit up to 20K.
