I wouldn't take this too seriously, their logic is this: Because Thief 4 is releasing late 2013 for X360 and Halo 2 in 2014 for 720, 720 must be launching in 2014.

Seems plausible, don't you think?

Plausible, but not likely. Thief 4 could easily release for 360 once 720 is already out. I just don't see how that is proof of anything.

This. It's a weird jump for OXM to make. It could be that Thief 4 is launching on 360 and PS3 but also getting visual upgrades for Wii U, 720 and PS4 at the same time.

An entire year into the 360's life you still had games like CoD3 and Tony Hawk's P8 being released on XBox, PS2, PS3 and 360.

I would actually also be very surprised if Halo 2 was a launch game. I would expect MS would want a game that was a visual masterpiece to launch with the system. While Halo CE:A had great graphics it was simply an overlay. As such animations were very outdated. I can't imagine them having Halo 2 as the big launch game and putting that animation in trailers, adverts etc.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.
