couple more points:
The "VGChartz Buddy" is not Flash. It's javascript. There's no reason the iPad can't load it. Plenty of other web sites have chosen to display similar floating menus to mobile Safari. I would guess that VGC chose not to in order to make this site a little less bloated for mobile devices. Since the graphing feature has been removed from VGC, the only Flash on this site is in the ads.
Second, I doubt we'll ever see a 7" iPad. A UI designed for iPhone would blow up too big and a UI designed for iPad would shrink down too small. I don't think Apple will ask developers to make a third UI to serve the market niche of people who want colour e-readers.
