We can't add an extra circle pad - where would the XYAB buttons go? The 3DS is almost perfect as it is, it just needs a battery extension. I imagine that they'll announce a redesign next year possibly - sales will be high enough this year with all the games coming out as it is; Nintendo should save the redesign for when they need it
