The best E3 moment in history hands down, was Konami's conference Starring Tak Fuji. The man was hilarious to the point of tears, and none of the parts that were funny were scripted. Granted, he wasreading bullet points from a teleprompter, but his interpretation of the information was real-time, and it was funny as hell.
Second place goes to Zelda reveal at E3 2004. The fact that it made grown men cry is just...surreal.
Worst moment in E3 history was Sony's entire 2006 conference; it encapsulated every single thing wrong with video game development today, like overpricing, feature copying, IP abuse, and general misinformation. Nintendo's E3 2008 was close to Massive Suckage as well, but that was due to poor content...
