Brian May from Queen, he built his guitar from a 100 year old fireplace,old parts of a motorcycle and a knitting needle. He has the best guitar tone of all time, no one can replicate that sound. Guitar greats such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Slash, Van Halen speak very highly of him and Jeff Beck christened him "the guvnor". Plus he has sold over 300 million albums.
