You know that's kind of a good point I didn't even really think about.  Its highly doubtful Wii U will be 10x more powerful than current gen.  And we aren't even sure if PS4 / Nextbox will be that much more powerful.

 

So potentially Unreal Engine 4 could not even make an appearance on next-gen consoles unless Sony and MS really step up and make super powerful machines.  They better that's for damn sure.

They have repeatedly said next HAS to be at least 10x more powerful than current gen for it to even be possible to run UE4.

So don't lol, just put faith in MS and Sony to deliver cutting edge hardware.

i'm sure the 10x is variable - aka if nothing runs it they don't have a product to sell and they most definetly need something to sell.  all i'm trying to say is that no matter how much superchuck posts and posts and posts that the differences beteween the wiiU and MSony won't be large there is only one metric that counts.  can it run the engine developers are developing in?  if Unreal 4 runs on MSony's machines and not the wiiU say good bye to third party support.

so in short -- i have faith that MSony have higher targets.  suck it superchunk.
