The auction house was telling me that the buyout failed so I tried to buy other things, turns out I bought six items and spent over 30.000 gold... Needlessly. DAMMIT! That is truly annoying, amassing money takes a little while, after all.

I thought the auction house wasn't supposed to be functional until next week or something? Or am I mistaking that with a different money trading system in the game?

Aside from the servers being shit, how does everyone enjoy the game so far? Has anyone played enough to give a good opinion? I'm really on the fence with this game.

The auction house with real money will only be up starting day 23, but the ingame currency auction house is already up. I've got a couple of bids up too.

I'm enjoying the game a lot, both story wise and gameplay wise. While it does have it's shortcomings (mainly the lack of customization of your character), it opens up a much more fluid gameplay style which has also it's nuances and trick with different skills&runes combos for each situation. I think it's too early to tell the full scale (i'm still only starting act II) and will probably feel a much larger impact of the gameplay on higher difficulties (nightmare and forth).

As for the artstyle complaints, while it is indeed of a lighter mood (a bit more cartoonish), the dark atmosphere and oppressive and grim feel are there on the right moments. On the Halls of Agony dungeons I got the same feeling as I did going through Floor 3 of the original Diablo, and that was something that D2 didn't do.
