If you have a desktop and don't need a laptop for work/gaming (who the hell games on a laptop anyways), then having a tablet is a perfect portable device in place of a laptop. Frankly, quite a few people fit that need. Why people carry it around with them and film stuff when they have a smartphone in their pocket is what I don't understand. Its best left for home/travelling as a fun media device.
