I don't see how they could fall short of 2m April-June. They're set to hit 1m for the quarter the week ending May 12, roughly the halfway point of the quarter. Most notably, the West hasn't seen a big release since mid-late March with Kid Icarus, and yet they're still on pace to hit 2m by the end of June. Throw a new game with "Mario" in the title into the mix and the 3DS is likely to have a sales boon in every region late May. New Pokémon games coming to Japan should boost 3DS hardware, too. Even though they're DS games, they have fuctionality with one of the new 3DS apps.
