but adjustments are made? so i ask again, why does it matter? are you saying the numbers are off? becasue right now all evidence points to the PS3 being the overtracked console on here. what adjustments dfo you want to see to make it all ok in your very balanced and fair eyes? |
The problem is with a group of posters who post almost nothing but pro MS stuff trying to spin the numbers all the time with no basis in reality to try and make it seem as if the 360 is the console that is hard done by and not the ps3. When the 360 is overtracked (like this past christmas) they fought tooth and nail saying the 360's high numbers must be right, when the financial reports came out they continuously denied the 360 had clearly been overshipped and channel stuffed, when all the independent trackers released there numbers to back this up they continued to post the opposite of what was reality & don't even get me started on the deluded posters who couldn't take the fact that the ps3 outsold the 360 in 2011, those post of denial were almost endless. And now the ps3 might be overtracked the same pro 360 posters are out in force again trying to get the ps3 numbers lowered. In the real world this forum has more pro MS posters trying to spin the numbers than Sony posters but the MS posters are in denial about this and believe it's actually the other way round.
So far all the data from tracking firms we have match vgchartz numbers for the ps3, when some actual proper data comes out that shows the ps3 is overtracked then by all means the numbers should be changed, i've already stated my personal opinion that some where in the world the ps3 is probably overtracked by a couple of hundred thousand and that's about it.
