Halo crossed console cycles before without needing a multi-console game, it will do so again.

In the rare chance neXtBox launches this holiday, there is no reason this couldn't be a launch game on it. I don't see why you'd get so angry over that suggestion.

Eitherway the game will hit retail shelves, regardless if its in a 360 or neXtBox... box. So, I don't see why your three choices makes any sense. The only decision is when they want to launch neXtBox. If it is this year, then it makes a hell of a lot more sense to make it a neXtBox game.
