Halo crossed console cycles before without needing a multi-console game, it will do so again.

You know, I've been thinking about this actually and while I personally don't think the next Xbox will come out this year, it does seem plausible with what superchunk has said and how they are releasing it much later than normal (about the time a new console would come out)...normal for this gen of Halo's at least.


Sorry mate, but where's the logic?

You can either do one of these instead:

A: Make a bundle pack (Halo 3, ODST, Reach, CE Anniversary & Halo 4).

B: Release it as a digital download, and slap a huge ad on the Halo site, Microsoft site, and the X720 dashboard. It won't cost them fuck all and you've got it advertised.

C: Release Halo 4 as a standalone box product and waste money that you could have avoided wasting.

To me C just doesn't make any sense from Microsoft's perspective which is a company notable for determining a strict line on how to profit best.

Like I said, I don't think it's actually going to happen and I don't think it would be that great of a business decision if they did (for many reasons). But I do see it as being plausible that the next Xbox could come out this year, however slight it may be.
