Actually, according to FIFA, the greatest soccer player of all time is Pelé.

He received the award.

Maradona hasn't received it because most part of the internet votes were from Argentina.

The fact is that the most known achivement of Maradona was the goal he made with his hands: "la mano de Dios" (God's hands, according to him) .........................LOL

He is also known by the great amount of drugs that he has smelled.

But let me clear up a few things first

Maradona did win the FIFA award to the greatest player of all times, but during the award ceremony Pele cried, he said it wasnt cause he wasnt chosen, but because he was happy for being there, so FIFA (Which is a huge mafia) awarded that Pele guy with it too, but we all know he doesnt deserve it.

Maradona did have drug problems, but the fact that he could overcome them makes him an even greater person. And he came from a very poor family and when he was sold to Italy he involved himself with the Mafia and went through the wrong path. Although he managed to make Napoli, a mediocre soccer club, its first tittle and international cups.

Then is greatest achievement wasnt that goal with the hand, in fact he scored 2 goals in the same match against England i n Mexico 86, he first was the hand of god one, and the sescond one was the greatest goal of all times also according to voters from all around the world.

So you little brazilian guy, if you are jealous about us keep it to yourself, you are way too pathetic and uneducated.

No that's not trolling, you should get your facts straight.

Reaserch about the Fifa award, you really need it. There is a guy that voted about 4000 times in Maradona. The pool from internet was considered biased. That's a fact.

Pele also came from a poor family. Actually most part of brallian football players are from very poor families.

And from what you said, he only mande one goal goal in that match. Read about Football, if you use your hand, is not a goal.

If you read any article about Maradona's matches of all time, they always comment about the "goal" with his hands. He should at least had apologized for that after the match. He had very anti-ethic posture.
