Microsoft - XBLA is on fire! - View Post

I recently had a dig through XBLA in marketplace and it's interesting to follow the history back along and see how the games have changed over the years. Seeing releases like Shadow Complex and the total change in quality after that was quite interesting. Before then was mostly classic arcade ports and the odd game like Braid. Not a bad thing mind you, arcade classics with online scoreboards was one of the main reasons I picked up a 360.

Anyway the library there is outstanding, far too many games for me to keep up with and my purchased backlog is out of control. I think MS would do well to ensure that library is transparently usable on the next xbox generation.

Indeed, one of my first games was Small arms and Ecoo the Dolphin =p.  I think the next one I got was Geometry wars but I started to love XBLA when I touched Castle Crashers for the first time :).
