| Troll_Whisperer said: I remember all that analog technology that sucked ass. And the modem noises. And the crappy TVs with shit resolutions, mixed up colours, snow... And using a pen to rewind cassettes. And tapes on camcorders. And having to use a phone booth. And the first 3D games looking like cardboard cut-out pieces of shit. And computers being huge and having 256 colours. And blue-and-red 3D glasses. And pay-as-you-go Internet when downloading 10mb meant paying significantly more. And when I was trying to watch a 2min video online and I had to wait 2h to be able to watch it but then my grandma made a call after 1h50 min and screwed up my evening. I know it was my childhood and there is some notalgia involved... but it sucked. Comedy was good though (Simpsons, Seinfeld) |
hard times, yet good memories. (still hard times for technology lovers).
It was even worse when you wanted to film a movie with a camcorder. You had to film all in order and if you made a mistake, you had to rewind the tape, pause it at the very right moment, and record again.
It was a pain in the ass.
