I dont understand what people have an issue with Romney. The reason he does not seem to take hard stances is because I think he honestly does not care about that stupid social issues that bog down progress in either direction.
Will Gay people being able to marry advance the US in any way? Will banning abortion advance the US in any way? NO. Those are both personal beliefs that have little effect on the large scale success of our country.
I like that Romney appears to not be married to ANY special interest groups. Special interest are not what determines the ultimate success of the US.
You get my point. Obama seems to only care about every special interest in the whole world but misses the big picture. Romney could care less about special interest (which is why he does not "endear" himself to most) but seems focused on the big picture. I like the fact no one group seems to love Romney.... That means he does not pander to any specific group. I believe is Romney is not a moderate we may never see one get this close to election. (look how hard it was for Romney to get the support of the base)
