TVs are a money sink but this years losses in the division are more to do with earthquakes and tsunamis destroying entire factories, which seems easily forgot as people clamor to blame Sony for miss management. They also launched a brand new console which doesn't come cheap.
Remember the division did post a profit last year, the unfortunate luck of a natural disaster as soon as they started to turn things around was a kick in the teeth they could of done without.
