Thought it was one of the remaining sort of franchises that hadn't already had a Lego video game. Makes commercial sense as well as a type-in to the The Hobbit. The did the same with Lego Pirates of the Caribbean and On Stranger Tides, and is a better option than doing a rushed game based solely on the film that is completely rubbish.
