that people don't kill each other every day because of religion, racism, sexism or whatever. and ohh sure that humans really managed to live without limited resources we need nowadays because if not, there won't be humans anymore.

I believe the limited resources problem will be solved with hydrogen fusion technology. It probably won't be widely available/affordable before we get in a lot of trouble in the aftermath of dwindling fossil fuels, but by the year 3000 we'll have that sorted. By then we might be using quantum vacuum energy instead.
Global warming might still be a problem (or actually a real problem), not because of CO2 but for our addiction to energy consumption. With the near limited supply of energy that hydrogen fusion can supply we would simply heat up the earth with all our energy consuming machines.

Anyway peace on earth, respect for others beliefs, no hunger etc would be nice to see. Unlimited energy will certainly lessen wars for resources. Water shouldn't be a problem either when desalination plants are cheap to run, they would work nicely coupled with hydrogen fusion plants.

By 3000 I expect us to have colonized another solar system or at least be on our way depending on how long the journey will be. Hydrogen fusion drives should be able to provide constant acceleration until the halfway point to then start deceleration. That also solves the problem of keeping the gravity on inside the living ship, basically a giant mobile biodome.
