You should go to your local Rotary Club and find out about their Exchange student program. It would be an awesome way to get yourself sent to East Asia for a year before you graduate from High School. They sent me to Japan when I was in High School. It was an awesome experience and they pay a lot of the expences for you. You really only have to pay for your airplane ticket and extra spending money. They cover the host family, school expences, and give you a small monthly allowance. They had 80 differant countries they sent students too when I went 14 years ago, so you may even have more choices now.
