I don't know. The U.S. seems like a place for the young and heavily armed. Can't recommend Canada as it gets pretty damn cold for three or four months and it's almost as 'taxing' as the U.K.. The snowbirds have it right flying south for the winter. Try to manage the North American equivalent of the 'grand tour' before you decide.
