But good quality doesn't mean that it's mass market appealing, games like Okami are critically acclaimed but unless you talk to someone who has good amount of knowledge in video games chances are they haven’t heard of the game. This is Sony’s greatest weakness with their IP’s, they are generally aimed at one target audience (Young teens GoW, Killzone, Infamous and Uncharted more or less) and struggle to hold the attention of everyone else. One of the big exceptions would be the Ratchet and Clank Series which appeals to different age and sex demographics, but as we seen with the sales it’s too late to market the series the way you want it. The only franchise with enough following and demographic broadness at the moment is LBP, chances are if they did a show they would follow guidelines Viva Pinata’s show did. Outside of LBP you have Uncharted which works as a movie but not a TV show, Infamous comics really is the only area it could do well in, GoW......hentai (I can’t think of anything at all so hentai it is), Twisted Metal....hentai again, Sly could work as teen aimed tv show but needs to gain more popularity before doing so. Oh and Fat Princess Hardcore Porno it could work there’s a market for every kind of fetish...
Former something....
