EA delaying a major game till next year sounds like they are porting it to next generation. If this IP is as big as they are indicating releasing it so late in the generation might not be the best idea. My bet is it will receive a graphical upgrade and launch across all platforms. My bet is it will launch on PC/Mac/360/PS3/NextBox/PS4/WiiU/Vita. EA has done this at the end of past generations. It is a very smart idea for the beginning of a new generation. If they are delaying it my bet is the current WiiU/360/PS3/Vita version is ready to go. They will likely spend the next year giving the game a graphical face lift for PC/NextBox/PS4.

I wonder if it is a new IP or an existing super power? It could be BattleField:BadCompany3, it could be a new entry in one of the dozen other EA properties.

I think EA has enough games coming this fall. This fall is going to be a mess, far too many games being released too close together. EA won't want to waste a killer App on 2012!
