Let's take away bundles now!

Why? Bundles sale systems. Even so, ok take away Wii Sports and its not that much different. Its not like all companies pretty much always have some kind of bundle available.

"What's your opinion on why these worked out like this?"

Bundles. That's my answer.

So you think the only reason Nintendo has so many more higher sales per games is due to bundling? That's obvious for Wii Sports, but no so obvious for MKWii or Wii Fit, etc.

No not all of course -.-

But there's more than just Wii Sports. I'm not so sure Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play and New Super Mario Bros. Wii would have reach the 20 million mark without bundles.

Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit are the most impressive on that list.

Edit: Nevermind about NSMBWii. It reached 20 million before bundles.

So you already removed NSMBWii and then there's Wii Play.

So other consoles also had tons of bundled games yet ZERO over 20 million.

Wii had 7 games over 20 million and in reality, one game bundled for the greater majority of its life and two other games bundled for about a year each. Yet, somehow its not impressive? When at least 4 of those games did that easily without any form of bundling and one was more expensive than any other base game out this gen except others that included game specific hardware. That's also not considering the 10m to 19m sellers where Wii also dominated.

I think the point is pretty clear and trying to down grade Nintendo with "arggh its bundled... blargity" is just petty.
