I wouldn't. IMO the UK is a much better place to live than the US. The education system is better, the healthcare policies are better, and the overall lifestyle is better. Plus if you're interested in the lifestyle or all the "glamour" stuff you see in the movies, then just go to the US for a visit. You'll see that America isn't anything special. This is coming from an American.
Oh and btw, you'll see a lot of fat people here. And by a lot, I mean A LOT. No offense to anyone.
