one last thing.... Why does it make it better if the article or I say yes all Japanese maifacturing is screwed? That makes it better somehow? and in respect of this forum... I wasnt aware that Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, Fujutsu and Hitachi where involved in gaming? Bllomberg wrote the artice, Bloomberg chose to major on Sony... take it up with them... or... just perhaps... you are being over sensitive... you think? |
Hmm, yes, the article becomes more "informative" when there is more information relating to the topic at hand. For example, an article on how poorly cheese is doing in france wouldn't be so much of a concern to me until I read a sentence indicating the importance. Clearly, one should be informed of things related to the topic at hand ANYWAY, but it's still important to lay out the context, much as it's important for researchers to explain the context of a study.
Second sentence. OK, but be aware that you're treading a very fine line in terms of context because you're basically saying Sony is a single apple in a sea of oranges. Or perhaps it's a cherry? This brings it back to the terms of context where one is able to look at a situation and say, OK, this makes sense given the overall market. When you isolate something and refuse to acknowledge the context, dismissing the capability of saying, "well X company over here is doing it right", then one of your initial statements of "people cannot keep putting thsi down to bad luck" becomes an eyesore....it's not really honest is it?
I know Bloomberg wrote the article. This is perhaps one of my reasons for saying "posting articles" or referring to the OP as "an article".
But sensitive, hmmmm this is an interesting notion. Wasn't it you who once said "I care about the truth and the facts", or something like that? Perhaps I am also affected by FUD, and mistakenly, on the more than willing false prophets who herald them? My apologies to you.
