Diddy Kong is a must. Donkey Kong is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises. They need another.
King Dedede would fill out the Kirby roster nicely.
Krystal. She is supposivly popular, and the game needs more females. Only down side is she'll be obsesed over by those furry fans >.< More then already.
Ridley is another must. Metroid needs more love, we need more heavy weights, and hey, he freakin' flys. What more do you want Little Mac is another must(in my book).
Punch Out is popular in Japan and the US so why not. Plus a boxer for a fighting game. No brainer.
Issac is a personal favorite of mine(even though we have enought swords men). A swordsmen with MAGIC! That would be fun. Oh, and Golden Sun kicked butt.
Sothe ffrom the new Fire Emblem game. I assum he is fairly popular now being the new FE kid on the block. But unlike other potential FE characters, he is a theif. It would be cool to steal items from other players.(Ike is good too).
A new Pokemon. I think Piplup. From what I've seen he is popular in the US and Japan. Most likely we'll get something "cute".
Lucas from Mother 3. Mother needs some love, and is popular in Japan. Why not.
Lastly we need a character from another franchise, not done yet. Muddy from Mole Mania would be cool. Digging and bombs andd what not. There is also Takamaru from the Japanese only game that slips my mind. Lip from panel De Pon. An younger Female character would be nice. least she wouldn't be a sex object. I would personally like Agent J from Elite Beat Agents or Ryūta Ippongi from Ouendan.
