The double standard is hilarious - just imagine how this thread would have gone if the roles were reversed and a Sony representative said something negative about a Nintendo product.

Here are a few words you would have seen a lot: douchebag, liar, copy, arrogant, fud.

It's not a double standard.  Miyamoto said nothing wrong or disparaging towards the Vita, even giving the tech credit where it was due.

When Jack Tretton refers to the 3DS as, "a great babysitting tool, something young kids do on airplanes, but no self-respecting twenty-something is going to be sitting on an airplane with one of those. He's too old for that", even most Sony fans will admit that he deserves all the backlash he gets for such an absurd statement.

LOL, Sony should let just Kevin Butler and nobody else digging at competitors, he's the only one able to do it with true wit and style.
But Jack Tretton in a sealed, shitstorm-proof room with Malstrom, last man standing, would be epic!

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.
