A few quick thoughts.
Sony's stock performance in Japan is almost as bad.
A lot of video game stocks are down ...and a lot of video game stocks in Japan had a rough day(s) around May 1. For comparison, Nintendo lost close to 10 percent of its value.
So Sony has its own financials as well as analysts proclaiming that one of its profit centers (video game consoles) is passé causing it financial problems.
