@VGKing Once again, we already know this. Does this mean Vita will also receive a price cut? I'm hope not since they'll lose a lot of money by doing it(already losted billions) and the bashing would be too severe cause it'll be faster than what Nintendo did. You can sell a product at a price if there are games willing to buy for it, but as of now there's not or not enough.

Though what is appealing is that the industry expected a lot of things from the system before it launched. Jack Tretton expected it to sell 500k in three weeks. Pachter predicted that the Vita's first three months would outsell the 3DS' first three months. Maybe these aren't good examples depending on the person, hell another guy said the Vita would be able to sell 12.4 million units if Sony does a price cut in it's first year. All I'm saying is that at the time during these systems launches, neither of them exactly hit everyone's desires(3DS actually had very good numbers at first, but failed in the long run, resulting price cut). But my main questions are were people expecting the Vita to sell less despite what the industry expected? Is it simply because they are two different handhelds made by different company? Is the 3DS damaging the Vita that much? Was Sony expecting the Vita to sell like this?

A price cut will definitely give it a boost. What it really needs is big games though.

Yes, 3DS is really hurting the Vita. Belive it or not, they are competitors. Add to that smartphones and the market for the Vita is very small.
