did the Vita exist when the 3DS launched, was the Vita dirt cheap when the 3ds launched, had it been out for almost a full year?

So, what are you saying?  That the Vita got to the market too late and now it's doomed because the competition is much more intense?  Theres no reason for it to exist because the competition is already doing everything that we want the Vita to do?  That sucks.
