So what is the point of this thread? To show that phones and tablets will take over gaming? But according to one of superchunk's previous post, Sony is the only one that will really be affected by that .

It doesn't matter how powerful tablets and smartphones get, they aren't taking over anything. The main reason being that they are being sold to a different audience. While people do play games on them and some games have sold quite well (mostly quickie games), the main purpose for a person to buy a smartphone is still to make phone calls and a tablet to have a portable touchscreen computer. Gaming on them is only secondary, which is why the OS is never optimized for it and can never take full advantage of its specs. And on the off chance that a few people do buy it only for gaming, I would bet 9 out of 10 of them still play on consoles.
