Ive been reading alot of posts and threads here and elsewhere on the interwebs about the new COD, most of my reading is about omg mason is alive, its in the future west vs east, woah look at the quad rotter thingy, the graphics are outdated BF3 FTW, and eww @ the robots i play COD to kill humans. ive have found some info that i ve not seen posted here or else where that i thought was more informative and got me hyped more than all the other info out there so far and thought i would share to COD fans and even gamer fans.
Story will start in the 80s to focus on the origin for what we've seen in the trailer that takes place in the future
BOs2 will be the first COD video game to feature branching storylines, which the players choice affects both the current mission and the overall course of the story
Its been hinted at that the side-plot of viktor reznov and his relationship with Alex Mason, that began in WAW and was advanced by BO, will be continued in BO2
The game will feature special 'Strike Force' missions that are offered as a choice to the player during the campaign. choosing one of the missions locks out the others unless the player begins a fresh campaign
Zombies are getting a big updated, it will have its own campaign along with the main story, 8 players, team modes,and bigger maps
Will have graphical upgrades including HDR lighting, bounce lighting, and self-shadowing as well as a new texture technique called reveal mapping, PC will support DX11
Kim Kardashian Tweeted i cant wait for COD BOs2 to come out!!!! the graphics look crazy
