I'm pretty sure that there has been results that shows if you brush your teeth after meals all the time it moves around the acids on your teeth causing erosion. Or something like that. 

Actually when not brushing your teeth, the remains of food in your mouth "feed" microbes that release acids to the teeth and erodes its enamel. Believe me, i know what i´m talking about.
