Easy to steal from most stores since a majority of the national chain store policies are that their employees are forbidden to chase shoplifters once they leave the store. Back when I was a rebel without a cause I used to steal cigs from the stores (don't smoke cigs anymore). One time after walking out of Krogers with a few packs a lady was like come back and give me the packs of cigs or I'll call the cops. She was standing at the door while I was outside. I just denied that I stole anything and walked away.  I remember a story of Best Buy employees chasing shoplifters outside and they were fired since they could have been shot or whatever.   Just google shoplifting run over walmart and you get this...

Basically, the employee died for a 350 lcd tv...  Seems worth it for such a shitty employer.  Actually, this guy didn't even get run over by a car.. He just got bull rushed and knocked down for trying to stop the shoplifter.

The funniest story would be a customer (yes, just a customer) tried to stop teenagers from stealing beer at a Walmart and got on the hood of their Camaro.  Well they drove off and dragged her a little...

Wait I found it... lol.. lo and behold the story is from Texas.  Go figure
