well yeah I mean the last GOW by SSM was in early 2010..it will be 3 years early next so they had plenty of time for this game. I think the game must be very close to being finished. The only reason why they most probably won't release it this year is because of the TLOU and All Stars among other big 3rd party games. I believe they will market the living shit out of those two games and keep GOW for around March next year.

Yeh I suppose you're right, they've got the GoW III engine sorted anyway so the dev time was likely much shorter. It's gonna be interesting to see how they release around All Stars, Sly I bet will get a boost from that game but I think even Kratos may get some new fans. Very interesting. 

Yeah and I already saw quite a few who said they will buy or will be buying sly games or even TM games check them out. The exposure that game will have for lesser known franchises will be huge. I hope it also means some sequels to some of those franchises.

And yep GOW will definitely get some new fans as well. And given how brilliant the GOW3 engine was and how talented SSM are, I bet this game is just gonna blow our minds. GOW3 was just a spectacle to the point that I had my gf just watch the game as I played it lol I really really hope they go all the way back if this is a prequel as well. To the childhood of Kratos and his spartan challenge where he had to survive on his own outside the city, his beginnings as a soldier and the rise to a general until that fated day he fought the barbarians......
