Flower, Dear Esther, To the moon, Journey are all mature games without any of the stuff that would get them an M rating. It's about tackling ideas and emotions. Games that make you think about their story.
M for mature is not the best interpretation in my opinion. It should be M for may cause nightmares in younger audiences, then we can also clear up this whole nonsense why nudity instantly deserves an M rating when a lot of violence and gore can skip by.
