I'm at once VERY surprised and not surprised at all.
Very surprised at the amount of Japanese guys not interested in sex. I don't think any of my Japanese friends aren't interested in it. Heck a lot of them talk about it a ridiculous amount. I also have quite a few friends who are nampa and they are ONLY interested in it haha.
On the other hand not surprised at all by the amount of women not interested. A lot of young Japanese guys are becoming even more 'feminine' or 'weak'. While in Japan there isn't such a clear cut attraction to the very muscular masculine guy we have in the West, traditionally they still liked 'strong' men. Quite a few younger Japanese guys seem to be stylising themselves more femininely but also just far less assertive etc. A lot of Japanese women also just don't view sex as really something for them to enjoy. Which is a mixture of a lot of problems. There is even a phrase that refers to sex as Mens play, although it's not common I have heard it used.
