I would say Sony. They have the highest selling console, the PS2, and they could've done something just as great with the PS3. (Don't ask me what made the PS2 so popular, I don't know.) Sony did something right the generation before last gen. that they didn't do with the PS3.

can't stay number one forever with rivals like ninity and MS. someone has to be the victim, and this time it was Sony. no console maker has ever had 3 back to back consecutive wins unless you look at ninty in the handheld department. the last 4 gen's (7th gen. isn't over yet. you could argue the 6th is still going cause PS2 continues to sale) have seen ninty 2 consecutive wins, and Sony 2 consecutive wins.

your statement is black and white, and not realistic. it's not sound logic to say, "because sony won the 5th and 6th gen's, they should have done better this (7th)gen. in that case, ninty would have won 4 straight. it jut doesn't work like that.

you hear about iphone until the hype die's down, then you hear about how good android is. try not being so black and white. you can't pre-write the story before the movie starts. you have to do it at least 2 yr's in advance.

What? Why are you criticizing what I posted so much? It was just my opinion.

have you forgotten what site you're on? i'm not criticizing you. this is my perspective on winning and losing. i have to say Sony did both the best. they still feel, and act like they are number one when they have lost billions and my still end up selling more consoles then Wii/360, but will still have lost the 7th gen. to ninty.

all i'm saying is open your statement, and try not to focus so much on what a company has done in past yr's, but on what they'er doing now. yes Sony disappointed/shocked many a people, and fans with how they've done this gen.  but a winning streak, simply comes to an end.

also, if you don't want your post picked apart, try expanding your opinions to a more open perspective, instead of this narrow box you post in. my perspective is to open and that's why i rarely (amongst other reasons) ever get quoted.
